A club, an apple, and a LOT of patience!

Seriously though, I live in an area where hunters (rifle, bow, and black powder) abound. And there is wild game all over in the country and there will be no problem acquiring meat. Pellet guns are great for small game, as well as snares. There are also plenty of snakes around for a quick bit of meat also. If the SHTF, there are plenty of options, as long as you know how to do it. I'm also furthering my education on curing/dehydrating meat for storage. Good point about the gun shots. One shot is hard to locate, but two is a giveaway.
